Join the Chocorua Community Association for pizza and beer (including root beer, n/a beer, soda etc) as we celebrate the jewel in the middle of the village, Chocorua River Dam Park. Under the stewardship of owners Peter Smart and Judith Reardon and volunteers from the Chocorua Community Association, the park has blossomed into a popular stop for both tourists and locals to take in it’s beauty and find some respite from the daily grind.
In addition to this “thank you” to Peter and Judith, we’ll have news about potential future family events in the park and for those not familiar with the park, information and stories about it’s history. For example, did you know that the dam is said to be the only timber framed dam left in NH? We’ll also welcome your ideas for ways to enjoy this under-utilized asset in our midst. Just bring yourself and the family and join us, we’ll provide the rest for this night of community fellowship.
Please rsvp here, so we will have an idea about how much pizza to have on hand. This is a free event, open to all, not just residents of Chocorua!
